Hello Princess,

It's the start of the week again.

You may be dreading about a scheduled meeting with your boss on Tuesday or your evaluation will be happening on Wednesday. You may have an upcoming deadline by the end of the day or you need to increase your sales by the end of the month. I don't know exactly what you're going through but all I know is this: YOU CAN DO IT.

You can ace that meeting and impress your boss. You can meet your deadline because I know you've been working hard on it. You will have a good evaluation and your great work will be commended. Just remember, whatever life throws at you I know you can handle it. ❤

Breathe and let your magic work. ❤

The Sunday Currently Vol. 01

Happy Easter everyone, as promised I'm really trying my best to revive my blog. This is a great therapy for me as well because instead of negative stuff, my mind is focused on words. Blogging uplifts my soul so much. πŸ‘―

Anyway, I'm looking through my old blog posts earlier and I told myself why not start a series all over again. Among everything I've tried in the past, The Sunday Currently is kind of my favorite. I reset the series since I am too lazy to reupload the previous ones. ❤❤❤

So here it goes:

I'm still reading Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow, it is a good book that I can relate myself to but there are just too many distractions. I feel like I can finish it in one sitting without the random shenanigans.

I am drafting new blog entries. That is how much I wanted to make a comeback in the blogosphere. Also, I'm writing random stories to de-stress myself.

I'm listening to my dogs bark. Kidding. Right now, I saw this new Jesse McCartney song Better With You and it keeps on playing in my head. Which reminds me, I have to download it right now. Hello, it's Jesse freakin McCartney. My 16 year old self is so kilig right now.

If I am to be honest, right now I am watching Sunday Pinasaya. To my readers outside PH, it is a Sunday Comedy Variety show and anything that makes me laugh is my favorite. hahahaha

Thinking of what to wear for work tomorrow and whether I should go to the dentist before of after work.

Nothing at the moment

I could make it!!!! I'll update once everything's completed. Please pray for me.

I get the best one. Not for me, but for the people I love.

My favorite pambahay. An oversized striped blue shirt and my PINK shorts.

The random explore videos on Youtube. Try it!!!

To go out of town!!!

To take a bath, and while I a typing this -- I need to cook afternoon snacks for me and my grandma.

Anxious -- this is my default feeling these days.

I am blog hopping since the start of my break.

See you all next Sunday for another The Sunday Currently update.

A New Tattoo

Memento Vivere

Love while you've got love to give
Live while you've got a life to live

I've got a number of stories to share but I don't know where to start. Okay, so let me start by sharing a quick update on what I did the whole time I was away from my blog. Major life events gave me so much stress that I needed to do something for myself to lessen my burden. Hence, my new tattoo!

This is my third tattoo, you can read about my first ones here. I was browsing Pinterest for inspiration and I swear, Pinteres is sinful especially if you aren't allowed to get a tattoo. There are just too many beautiful ones there.

So why this one? Hmmm. I got this to remind me to continue, despite the continuous setbacks in my life. This is to remind me to just keep on fighting and that everything will get better in the end. πŸ’œπŸ’œ

Where She Went

Whoa, I can't believe when the last time I opened my blog and shared an update was. To be honest, it took me a while and a few blog reads to relieve my passion in writing something here. With the turn of events, I just can't let my blog go. This has somewhat become my creative outlet and where I could shamelessly share my thoughts. πŸ˜€

So what really happened the whole time I was MIA? πŸ˜•

I can't remember much of it, really. I have this habit of placing all unpleasant events in my subconscious before it eats me whole. Though I have to admit that I've been in a really difficult situation towards the end of 2017 and of course, in the early months of 2018. 😭 I will not share most parts cause ain't worth it πŸ˜’. I took a break from the internet. I took a break from everything that breaks my already broken self 😢 lol. I must say that it paid off. I realized that Social Media plays an ugly game. People will only believe what they've read, they will never ask for your side. 😭

The time I was away, I relieved my love for paperbacks. ❤ I loved Taylor Swift even more.❤ Most importantly, I recognized the best people in my life. It's not about the number of humans that you interact with daily, what matters is that despite having only a few people in your circle you never feel alone. Another thing is, I chopped of my hair and I have never been this confident in a while. ❤

Life doesn't get better in an instant. Bills, problems, issues - they are all coming my way and at times it really gets exhausting. If you are in the same place as I am right now, just keep going. Several times I admit that I want all the hurt to go away already. I thought there's a much better place for me. But then I looked around, I saw my dogs wagging their tails everytime I get home, I saw my mom patiently preparing my meals for the day, my dad who checks up on me from time to time - that's when I realized that life isn't so bad after all. Just believe in yourself and have faith.

Escape Diaries: El Nido, Palawan Part 2

As promised, here is the second part of our El Nido tour last November 18-20, 2016. I'm sharing a visual diary of Nacpan and Calitang Twin Beaches. So first, let me tell you a story on how we've decided to have a quick trip to see this beauty. This isn't part of the actual tour package that we booked. It's just that we have plenty of free time during our first day to we've decided to go on a side trip. Upon doing some research, this is also a must visit in El Nido.

A van transfer is included on our tour package, so from Puerto Princesa airport that's still around 6-8 hours travel time to El Nido. From the terminal, we still have to ride a tricycle to our hotel, that costs us around 50 pesos. The tricycle driver offered some tours for us since we only booked the cheapest package and we only had Tour A, since madami kaming time, we agreed to visit Nacpan + Calitang Twin Beaches. It costs around 1,500 pesos, makipagtawaran nalang kayo :)

We just spent an hour touring the island but it was one peaceful island during our time of visit. It was less crowded here so I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend that you visit this island if you're in El Nido.

I know this post has been overdue. I still have lots of photos to share. Hehe. I'm still learning and practicing my editing skills using my computer. I don't want to rely so much on my smartphone anymore.

Feel free to comment about your thoughts. I would really love to hear from you all.

Selfie Expert? Finally Switched to OPPO F3

My trusty Iphone 5 is already overdue for an update. I knoooooow right? But who cares, it's still working despite the battery issues, may powerbank naman eh! Right? But then, the battery drains easily even without using the phone and for a person who has an 8am to 5pm work daily and the chances of being assigned for events outside the office is really high --- I needed a phone who can last a day. That's when I've finally --- FINALLY decided (HAHAHA) to upgrade my phone.

I got my phone through SMART Plan -- I'll share my experience with Smart on a separate post. For the meantime, here are the top reasons why I've decided to switch from Iphone to an android device -- The OPPO F3!

Oppo claims to be the #SelfieExpert and I kid you not! They truly are! Oppo F3 has a dual front camera which made it easier for a GROUPfie.

Still not convinced about how crisp clear your selfies can be? Here are more details!!! yay for the 16MP front camera. This one's great for video calls too. Already tried it! HUHU.

You may ask me, how about the rear camera? Of course, I considered this one too. After all, I need a phone with a great camera for my blog. Here goes! The expert mode, you guys! It's awesome. At first it's kind of tricky but then once you get a hold of it, you'll love it for sure!

Aside from the camera, here are a few more details about the phone.

There you go! I really love it so far. Another thing that I loved about switching to an android device is how I can customize the look of my phone (to match my Mike Wazowski phone case ^_^ )

Ear Candy: Top 10 Songs That Never Left My Playlist

Travelling to and from work usually takes me 2-3 hours given the proximity of home to office. Imagine the horror of being stuck in EDSA traffic 5 days a week. I have separate gadgets for music, photos, and games. That's just how I am and that is the main reason why I carry an oversized bag for work. I keep a separate ipod where I store all my music. I've owned both the 4th and 5th generation of the iPod Nano but for some reason, it was always stolen. Right now, I have my trusty Sony Walkman MP3 Player. Another bad habit is not saving a back-up of my songs - I know, I know! Hehehe. But despite the hassle, these are the top 10 songs I wouldn't mind downloading over and over again.. Prepare the cheese cause I realized they're ll mushy!

10. Beautiful As You - All 4 One

9. Terrified - Katharine Mcphee & Zachary Levi

8. Over It - Katharine Mcphee

7. Too Little, Too Late - JoJo

6. So Slow - Jon Mclaughlin

5. Blue Sky - Hale (high school crush's fave way back so it never left my playlist ever since)

4. A Girl Can Dream - Nina

3. Teardrops On My Guitar - Taylor Swift

2. Superman - Joe Brooks

and number 1 spot goes to Best Friend by Jason Chen - yep!!!

I still have a lot of music on my playlist that I would like to share with you guys but these are the ones that will always have a space on my storage no matter how old they get. Perhaps, I'll make a part 2 of these list next time.

How about you guys? What are the songs that are always included on your playlist?
